Early Life:

Benjamin Frick, born April 26, 1796, Coventry, Chester County, Pennsylvania; son of John and Catherine Grumbacher Frick; engaged, lumber business, Limerick Station, Schuylkill River; Postmaster, Limerick Station, twenty years; Secretary, Perkiomen and Reading Turnpike Road Company, 1836-1871; director, Pottstown Bank; director, Bank of Montgomery County, Norristown; business agent, Philadelphia and Reading Railroad; elected, Whig Pennsylvania State Senate, 1853-1855; married, Eleanor ‘Ellen” Davis Frick, 1815, children, David Frick, Elizabeth Frick, James Frick, Mary Frick, Catharine Sisler, James Frick; died, October 4, 1871 (aged 75), interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Parker Ford, Chester County, Pennsylvania.
