Shimer, Asher D. Shimer, Camilla Mary Shimer Brodhead; elected, Democrat, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1850-1852; federal elector; treasurer, director, Bethlehem Railroad Company, 1862; died, April 30, 1866 (aged 68), residence, near Bethlehem, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interment, Schoenersville Cemetery, Schoenersville, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
