Early Life:

Miles R. Nason, born September 11, 1859, Fairview Township Erie County, Pennsylvania; son of William McClelland and Charlotte K. Rice Nason; public schools of Franklin Township, Erie County; teacher, public schools at the age of eighteen years, taught thirteen terms; Edinboro State Normal School, 1888; read law, office of Captain E. L. Whittlesey, now Judge, Erie County, admitted Erie County bar, 1892; attorney; engaged, practiced law in Erie ever since; served, Erie City Council, three terms; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1917-1920; married, Harriett A. Landis; died, April 10, 1933, Erie, Erie County, Pennsylvania. Burial location unknown.
