Daix and Son; married, Blanche Lillian Dunn, 1897; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1913-1932, elected, Republican, Senate President Pro Tempore, 1929-1932; married, Blanche Lillian Dunn Daix, children, Augustus Felix Daix, III, Lillian Daix Boniface, John Ronald Daix, Virginia Daix Hengst; died, May 5, 1932 (age 65 years, 215 days), in the office of Senate, heart disease, New Clarion Hotel, Atlantic City, Atlantic County, New Jersey; interment, West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.

Wrote the 1921 Insurance Department Act.
