Thomas Duszak, Librarian, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1981-1988 

Early Life:

Thomas "Tom" Duszak, born June 14, 1951, Hedgeville neighborhood of Wilmington, county seat of New Castle County, Delaware; son of Eugene and Lucille Swierczewska Duszak; attended Saint Hedwig's School; graduate of Salesianum School, University of Delaware; Master of Science, Library Science Columbia University; relocated to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, 1978; librarian, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1981-1988;  department head, cataloging section, State Library, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, (Pennsylvania's version of Library of Congress); survived by his daughter, Barbara; died, February 20, 2025, (age 73), Kentmere Rehabilitation and Skilled Care, Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware, private burial.

Member, Catholic Library Association, Polish American Historical Association, Susquehanna Valley Stamp and Postcard Club. Active and faithful member of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
