Stewart, born 1854, near Zollarsville, Washington County, Pennsylvania; same year his parents moved to a farm purchased in Greene County, near Jefferson, Pennsylvania; public school education; Monongahela College; resides, owning and operating his farm, Jefferson, Pennsylvania; agricultural Interests; chairman, Farmers ' County Institute, fourteen years; teacher, ten years; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1915-1918. Burial location unknown.
