Chester David Sensenich, born January 8,1867, Compassville, Chester County, Pennsylvania; son of Jacob Hiestand and Mary Eby Sensenich; removed to Irwin, Westmoreland County, 1879; public school education; engaged, stone and marble business; delegate, Republican State Convention, 1894; councilman, Irwin council; elected, chairman, Chester County Republican Committee, 1896; clerk of courts, Chester County, 1897-1900; married, Carrie E. Boyd, 1899; president, Irwin Foundry and Mine Car Company, Jersey Cereal Food Company; organizer, Irwin First National Bank.
