George Schall Jr., born December 26, 1768, Pike Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania; son of George and Catharina Neuhard Schall; engaged, agriculturist and blacksmith; grist and sawmill operator, his homestead, built, 1796; married, Catharine Oyster, 1789, children, George, John, Hannah, Catharine, David, Mary, William; elected, Democrat, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1825-1828; died, May 22, 1831 (aged 62), Pike Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interment, Hill Church Union Cemetery, Boyertown, Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Legacy:
Trips to Harrisburg, were two days, always on horseback, first day, carrying his food, riding as far as Lebanon, staying overnight, following day, finishing the journey, Pennsylvania State Capital.
