Beyer, 1905, sons, Lieutenant Robert B. North, Private Fred North; secretary, United States Congressman, J. Taylor North, 64th congress, 1915-1917; secretary, Jefferson County Republican Committee; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1925-1929; engaged, mercantile, drugstore business, Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; died, December 16, 1943 (aged 57), Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania; interment, Circle Hill Cemetery, Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania Politics:

Elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 37th district, Indiana and Jefferson County, 1925-1928; was defeated, Republican state senate primary, by Doctor W.S. Blaisdale, also of Punxsutawney; in the November General Election, ran on the Prohibition Ticket, defeating Republican Blaisdale, aided by heavy support from Indiana County (he lost Jefferson County and Punxsutawney to Blaisdale).
