Miller, born August 26, 1859, Pike Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; Curwensville Normal School, 1879; Williamsport Commercial College, 1881; University of New York's medical school, 1886; took post graduate courses in medicine in New York and specialized in the Medical profession, Viemma, Austria; medical practice, Ansonville, then Madera, Pennsylvania; school director,  township of Bigler; president, school board, township of Bigler; president, Madera Water Company; vice president, director, Madera National Bank; elected, Pennsylvania Senate, 1915-1922; served, Health Insurance Commission; married, Emma Klare Miller; died, November 10, 1931; Philipsburg Cemetery, South Philipsburg, Centre County, Pennsylvania.
