Biography

Born on September 13, 1882, in Kansas City Missouri, J.K. McQuiddy was the son of Benjamin Franklyn and Jennie (Davis) McQuiddy. He attended public schools; studied electrical engineering from I.C.S.; was a member of the Mayor’s (New Castle) Relief Committee; the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers; and executive board member of the National Defense Committee of Greater New Castle. He married Evelyn Carol Hartman.
