Boyd, Jr., Wallace B. Boyd, and Mary E. Boyd; elected, Democrat, district attorney, Fayette County, 1871-1874; retired, private law practice; chairman, Democratic Fayette County Committee, 1875-1898; elected, Democrat, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1899-1902; died, September 4, 1911 (aged 65) Fayette County, Pennsylvania, interment, Oak Grove Cemetery, South Union Township, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
