Clarence F. Manbeck (R48) born September 21, 1908, Bethel Township, Lebanon County) son of Webster and Salome (Yeich) Manbeck. Attended public schools; founder, C.F. Manbeck Poultry Inc.; farmer. Married Eve Pyse. Two daughters, Alletta M. Schadler, Fredericksburg, and Barbara M. Bauer, Shelton, Connecticut. Died on May 14, 1991 Fredericksburg, Lebanon County; interred, Altalaha Lutheran Cemetery, Rehrersburg, Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Founded Farmers Pride in 1939, selling chickens in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Farmers Pride, Inc., C. F. Manbeck, Incorporated, and Bell & Evans, Incorporated are merged into Farmers Pride, Incorporated in 1986.
