Lines and Company (father); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate 1887-1890; married Susan Lines; died, May 6, 1928 (aged 85) Bethlehem, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, interment, Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania.
Early Career:
Enlisted Corporal, 28th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, 1862 saw action, Antietam, Gettysburg; Wilderness; Spotsylvania Court House; Cold Harbor; Bethesda Church; Siege of Petersburg; Weldon Railroad; Poplar Springs Church; Fort Stedman; the Appomattox Campaign, mustering out with the Company D, 50th regiment on July 30, 1865.
