Enos Miles Jones, born July 19, 1873, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania; son of Miles R. and  Maria L. Livingstone Jones; public school education; employed, Pennsylvania Railroad, 1889-1903; engaged, sand-mining and quarry business; co-founder, president, Altoona Brick Company; realtor and builder; president, Fairview Cemetery Association; Altoona City Council, 1905-1907; chairman, Republican City Committee of Altoona; elected, Republican Pennsylvania State Senate, 1911-1914; trustee, contributing builder, Altoona City Hospital; Altoona Planning Commission, 1924-1933; member of several fraternal and civic associations; board of trustees, Broad Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1927-1933; married, Edith Emma Winter Jones, children, Buhl Winter Jones, Louise Ashton Jones; died, October 31, 1933, Point View summer home, Point View, Blair County, Pennsylvania; interment, Fairview Cemetery, Altoona, Blair County, Pennsylvania.

Point View, eastern Blair County, Pennsylvania, along the southwest edge of Catharine Township. It is in the valley of Township Run, which forms the boundary between Catharine and Frankstown Township. The small, steep valley is between Short Mountain to the east and the south end of Canoe Mountain to the west and drains south to the Frankstown Branch of the Juniata River. Pennsylvania Route 866 is the southern edge of the highway leads southeast down the Frankstown Branch 3 miles to Williamsburg and west 0.5 miles to U.S. Route 22, which continues west 9 miles to Hollidaysburg, the Blair County seat. 

Named after his Grandfather Enos Miles Jones whom came from Chester County to Altoona; Grandfather lived at 1406 Eleventh Ave. Altoona.
