Jackson and Son, then, Jackson Brothers, Dushore, Sullivan County; elected, Democrat, Pennsylvania State House of Representatives, 1859-1860; elected, Democrat, Pennsylvania State House of Representatives, 1863-1864; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1867-1869; director, Sullivan and Erie Railroad; director, State Line and Sullivan Railroad; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1879; died, November 23, 1879, (age 54), while in office of the Senate, Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania; interment, Fairview Cemetery, Dushore, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania.
