Pennsylvania Politics:

Elected, Republican, Pennsylvania House of Representatives, 1861; unseated by contest, January 6, 1862; as the result of a legal challenge, Bedford, Somerset House district was declared unconstitutional and divided into two districts. G. W. Householder was removed from his seat and replaced by the highest votegetter in Bedford who was John Cessna.
