Voted against the 1836 School Director Bill; from Maxatawny.
Member of the state House of Representatives, 1837-39, 1848-1848; and 1857; member of the state Senate, 1841-1846.
Died on the 4th of November 1851, in Greenwich, Berks County, age 63 years.
He represented Berks county, for many years, in both branches of the Legislature.
