Morris Einstein, born June 15, 1865, Allegheny City, Pennsylvania; son of Leopold and Matilda Loefler Einstein, Morris; educated, public schools; engaged, drug business,1885; organized, general manager, Pennsylvania Light and Power Company, 1900; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1919-1934, unsuccessful reelection; president, Mutual Ice and Ice-cream Company; married, Nora Guckenheimer Einstein, son Robert G. Einstein; died, June 12, 1937 (aged 71) Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interment West View Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Engaged, drug business,1885; organized, general manager Pennsylvania Light and Power Company, 1900, until its merger with the Philadelphia Light and Power Company; president, Mutual Ice and Ice-cream Company, Metropolitan Street, North Side.
