Virginia Rutherford; elected, Whig, Pennsylvania State House of Representatives, 1848-1849; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1858-1860; treasurer of Pennsylvania State Agricultural Society, 1864; died, October 10, 1892 (aged 86); interment, Paxton Presbyterian Churchyard, Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
