Born in Philadelphia, October 26, 1906, the son of Mayer and Lena (Kahane) Rosenfeld; Central High School, Wharton School, Univ. of Pennsylvania, 1927; Penn Law School, 1930; member of college law associatioins; member of the Philadelphia Bar; Senate Clerk, 1933-1937; Chief, Consumer Credit Bureau, Dept. of Banking, 1937-1939; Auditor General’s office, 1939-1941; Legislative Reference Bureau, 1941-1943; Executive Committee, 29th Ward, Philadelphia; International Upholsterer’s Union; Associate Editor, University of Pennsylvania Law Review; married Edith Horowitz 1952. Chaired a 17-person committee, charged with having to draw up the 1950 Democratic platform.
