Chambers Orr Templeton, born September 23, 1859, Logan Township, Blair County, Pennsylvania; son of David B. and Annie Orr Templeton; common school education; Birmingham Mountain Seminary; Millersville State Normal School (now Millersville University); teacher, Blair County, seven years; read law, admitted, Huntingdon and Blair Counties bars, 1888, since practiced his profession in Tyrone married, Alice Morrow Templeton, 1889; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1907-1910; moved, Canton, Ohio, 1914; engaged, real estate, insurance, Canton; died, October 4, 1916, heart, Canton, Stark County, Ohio; interment, Sinking Valley Cemetery, Arch Spring, Blair County, Pennsylvania.
