William Speer Woods, born March 3, 1861, Allegheny City Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; son of David and Nancy Woods; Pittsburgh public school education; admitted, Allegheny County bar, 1888; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1903-1906; bachelor; died, January 18, 1928, home, 6636 Dalzall Place, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interment, Homewood Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

Early Career:

Admitted to practice before, Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, United States District and Circuit Courts for Western District of Pennsylvania, 1890.
