David Adam Wilbert, born February 23, 1862, Mount Washington Borough, Allegheny County, son of Jacob and Elisabeth Wilbert; educated, Pittsburgh common schools and Pittsburgh Central High School; engaged, father, brother, wholesale produce business, 1882-1909; engaged, real estate, insurance, mortgage and bonding business with P. J. Edwards, under the firm name of D. A. Wilbert and Company, 209 Berger Building, Pittsburgh; vice-chairman, Republican City Committee of Pittsburgh; elected, Republican, Pennsylvania State Senate, 1905-1912; married, Josephine Mary Wilbert, children, David William Wilbert, Harry J. Wilbert, Walter Wilbert; died, January 26, 1912, (aged 49), in office of the Senate, Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania; interment, South Side Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
