Walter Scott Alexander born March 13, 1847, farm, Wells Valley, Bedford (Fulton) County, Pennsylvania; son of John Bradley and Rebecca Moore Alexander; public school teacher, McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania, Marietta, Ohio; engaged, printing, owner, editor, Fulton Republican; studied law, Congressman John Cessna, admitted Fulton County bar, 1870; engaged in that of legal profession; elected, District Attorney, Fulton County, 1877-1879; married, Nettie Louise Gibson, 1888, daughter, Maria Dickson Alexander; elected Pennsylvania State Senate, 1887-1890; resumed, legal practice; died, December 4, 1912 (aged 65) Fulton County, Pennsylvania, interment, McConnellsburg Presbyterian Cemetery, McConnellsburg, Fulton County, Pennsylvania.
